Ever since the release of World of Warcraft, there has been a steep decline in the number of players. But now Blizzard is releasing an old version called “World of Warcraft Classic.” This will bring back many nostalgic memories and may even get gamers who have left to come back.
Boosting
Boosting is the fastest way of wow classic power leveling. In this case, Boosthive’s WoW power leveling is a quick and economical way to get your character to level 60. In 12 hours or fewer, you can level 50-60 people. Their support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the service is completely secure.
Questing
The most efficient way to level in Classic is to quest. Some quests will give you 2-3 levels at a time while others will only give one. Dungeons provide less experience, but they can be done quickly and yield 1 or more levels per run, depending on the dungeon and your group’s composition and gear level. WoW Classic power leveling, and the earlier you start it, the faster your character will level.
You can start quest chains as early as level 1 and at every zone. The quests give more experience if they’re done on higher levels because those quests are meant to teach new concepts that you just learned at lower levels. They also give more rewards on higher levels because the items are better.
As soon as you hit level 10, go to Arathi Highlands or Dun Morogh and start questing until you get to 20. When you get to 20, head over to Teldrassil for a bit of story-line quests that will grant you some epic gear resulting in leveling a bit faster. Once you have that gear, head back to Dun Morogh or Arathi Highlands and continue questing until 20.
Leveling from 10-20 should be as fast as it ever gets in Classic because this is where the quests truly start to give great rewards, many of which will carry you through your entire leveling career.
Dungeons
Dungeons provide less experience than quests, but they also require less time to complete. You can easily knock out 2 or more levels per hour with good gear and the right composition.
The best instances for Classic power leveling are Stratholme, Blackrock Depths, Scholomance, and Dire Maul. They’re all quick and easy enough to not require any significant amount of time investment. For even faster leveling, make sure your group can kill the last boss in under 10 minutes (realistic with good gear/composition).
Stratholme has a nice balance of experience and valuable drops, however, it doesn’t have very many quests. If you are looking to level quickly, it’s a good instance to start in.
Just like Stratholme, Scholomance and Blackrock Depths are both instances that give you a bit less experience than quests but they also provide plenty of items that will easily sell for more than the cost of an instance run and some decent drops and quest rewards. Dire Maul is good if you are trying to level up your herbalism or enchanting, but not much else.
If you can take down these instances quickly enough to get the last boss down in under 10 minutes, even better!
Dungeons have a few other benefits. The first one being that they provide less downtime than quests. Since Classic has very little of the conveniences of modern WoW, you’ll spend more time walking around, killing mobs, and sitting to regenerate. Quests will take longer because players need to travel between quest givers or hubs, which is why dungeons are better for leveling quickly.
The second benefit of dungeons is that they provide gear upgrades at a faster rate than quests, allowing players to get better gear for their level faster. The third benefit is that you get a chance at best-in-slot item upgrades from dungeon bosses. If you have a group of friends or guild members who can help you beat the boss efficiently and before other groups, loot will drop more frequently from these bosses than from questing or farming mobs.
Leveling as a tradesman is easy and comes with the benefit of not having to travel as much as other classes such as Mage, Rogue, or Druid. Just create a few “mule” characters that you level up to 10/12 and provide them with cancer gear, potions, and food for your journeys. This will allow you to buy and sell items as well as restock your inventory so that you can stay on the move and level fast.
The key to leveling quickly in WoW Classic is not grinding mobs… it’s organizing a good group composition with gear, consumables, and most importantly… timing. Farming instances efficiently will yield faster results than farming mobs.
Remember, if you have a group of friends or people from your guild who can help you complete instances faster and more efficiently, not only will you get better gear at a faster rate, but you’ll also get EXP for each mob that is killed within the instance. In my opinion, this is the most efficient way to level up in Classic.
Quests vs Dungeons
Doing dungeons with the right group is always better than doing quests. Dungeons provide gear upgrades at a faster rate than quest rewards, give EXP for the bosses you kill within the instance (assuming your group can beat it in under 10 minutes), and they also help level up your character’s skills, like cooking or first-aid. Farming mobs will become a nuisance as you get closer to 60, so be smart and team up with people whenever possible.
Conclusion
There you have it… Questing and grinding mobs will yield the least amount of EXP per hour, but if you’re grinding for specific gear, farming instances is the best way to level your character fast in WoW Classic.
I hope this blog post would be useful for gamers looking forward to playing World of Warcraft Classic, power leveling as well as those interested in learning more about Blizzard Entertainment and its history with video games.
