UV radiation and ultrafiltration are common water purification methods used in water purifiers. Although it is a novel technology, hydrogel still needs to be tested and verified before being put into action.
UV sterilizers filter out 99.9% of pollutants, making it somewhat better than ultrafiltration. UV sterilization systems also cost more than ultrafiltration machines. To date, hydrogel’s actual efficiency and price have not been established.
Using a single purification method is not recommended, because each technology has advantages and drawbacks. As a result, it’s preferable to use a multi-step purification technique that includes several filtering methods.
