Commencing on November 23, a total of 8 classified CS:GO teams will attend BLAST Premier: Fall Finals to battle for one spot at the World Final and $425,000 in prize money. Some of the qualified teams will have to advance through the Fall Showdown qualifier, while others will do so directly from the Group Stage of the main event.
All in all, the attendee list for BLAST Premier: Fall Finals includes the six best squads from Fall Groups and the two top teams booking their spots via Fall Showdown qualifier. The latter will be the cs go next tournament from the BLAST circuit, which will run from October 19 to 23 and where a total of 16 teams will compete for the only two remaining spots in the Finals.
In view of the fact that in just two months we will meet all the qualifiers, we are going to put on the table all the squads that are already prepared to participate in the Fall Finals at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. Without further delay, let’s get started!
The 6 Teams Attending the Fall Finals
The Last Chance Stage of BLAST Premier: Fall Groups already knows its six winners who managed to achieve the long-awaited qualification to the Fall Finals. These are NaVi, OG, Liquid, FaZe, G2, and NiP.
Natus Vincere
We will continue to enjoy the Ukrainian roster’s impressive performance at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen this year 2022. In fact, NaVi has impressed the CS:GO community for years now. Their last season’s triumph against Team Vitality in the Fall Finals made the entire audience tremble.
A huge match in which they have not only proven to be the best squad but also the one with the best individualities. There was no rival for them and no better way to close the 2021 season with a victory for the CIS giants. At this current moment of time, it seems as if only FaZe can rival NaVi in the BLAST Premier: Fall Finals event. With these, the one thing for sure is that we will be enjoying the upcoming tournament.
OG
It was also OG to come out on top after beating Astralis 2-0 in the Play-In Stage of the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups. Although the Danish squad failed the Group Stage after losing to Vitality and Astralis, they rose in promotion Playoffs and managed to achieve their main goal. OG managed to take a revenge against Astralis in the Finals, who came as the heavy favorites. However, with such players as Shahar “flameZ” Shushan and Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, you can never count out OG.
Team Liquid
BLAST Premier: Fall Groups had come to an end, and Liquid rose as one of the top candidates among the Finals participants. The team dominated the Group Stage, losing only to NaVi in the Grand Final. In the Playoffs, they took on NiP and Heroic, which were met by an almost unbeatable Liquid’s roster. These two dominating victories meant that Liquid secured a spot in Copenhagen among its first attendees.
FaZe Clan
Thanks to great teamwork, FaZe managed to beat Astralis in the Last Chance match and secure qualification to the Fall Finals event with a 2-1 victory. Even though FaZe were considered the big favorites for the Fall Groups, the brawl between them and the Danes was a close affair. Anyway, they clinched the victory and finished in 4th position to have the advantage of playing the final series of the BLAST Premier circuit.
Ninjas in Pyjamas
Following the results of the Fall Groups, NiP finished 5th place and therefore, caught the ticket to the upcoming Finals event. However, on paper, the tiebreaker match between them and Heroic could go in any direction. Both teams played three maps, the results of which ninjas managed to run away with the victory ahead of the Danes of Heroic.
G2 Esports
G2 pulled through in the end and won the decisive match against Team Vitality to clinch the last spot at the Fall Finals. That said, it is worth noting that with signing Hooxi and Jks, everyone expected from these two players to significantly strengthen the club. However, both newcomers became the worst players in the opening matches against NaVi and Liquid, with a rating of 0.6 and 0.84, respectively. Currently, it seems that G2 made the worst transfer by signing inexperienced players. But we need to see their performance in the Fall Finals to create the full picture.
