Are Luisa and Isabella Twins Encanto?
The biggest question I see floating around the forums is whether Luisa and Isabella are twins or not. With a quick browse through Wikipedia, you’ll notice that the Madrigal family tree encanto does not include either Luisa or Isabella as part of their own individual families but instead as a Madrigal-Nava. The assumption is that since these characters come from two different towns (Isabella comes from Valencia while Luisa is from Madrid). They were never sisters at all but cousins instead. However, it may be worth mentioning how Carlos Ríos himself defined his character when he said.

After Isabelle died, Ricardo started a relationship with a girl named Adriana, who gave birth to a son named Federico. When he found out that Federico wasn’t his biological son. He kick Adriana out of his life and raise Federico on his own. He also kept it a secret that Federico wasn’t related to him since it would’ve tarnished Isabelle’s memory if people knew that she cheated on her husband for years before marrying him.
