Shortly after that, he went on a journey with Gohan and Piccolo that led them to a confrontation with Majin Buu. After many battles against Majin Buu, which resulted in massive destruction across Earth and many deaths, Goku sacrifices himself again to defeat Majin Buu once and for all.
The Saiyan & Frieza Sagas
This series begins with the Saiyans, which start with a 23-year-old Goku. After Goku’s heroic death in the battle with Raditz. One year passes before he finally wishes back with the Dragon Balls. Once Goku is back on the battlefield, he leads the efforts of the remaining Z-Warriors to take down Nappa and Vegeta. Following a long recovery period, Goku heads off to planet Namek to assist Gohan, Krillin. Bulma with the villain who destroy his planet named Frieza. A lot happens over these three years that sees Goku grow from just a kid into an adult warrior. The Saiyan saga takes place from Age 784 – To age 787 (five years).
The Emperor Pilaf Saga
It is a testament to the franchise’s popularity that the series has existed since the 1980s and is still going strong. The first arc in the original Dragon Ball anime is the Emperor Pilaf Saga. The story that saw the young Saiyan cross paths with Bulma, Yamcha, Krillin. Dragon Ball’s Master Roshi for the first time. He introduces as 14 years old at the beginning of Dragon Ball.
