You’ll have all you need to create a fantastic painting in your package. Here are some pointers on how to take care of your brush and get the most from your kit. If the acrylic paints are left open too long, they will dry quickly. To keep the paints from drying out, remember to lock the paint container lids after each use and learn more about DIY paint by numbers. Have you made a blunder? Allow for complete drying if you make a mistake with the color. After that, you can paint so over the area with the appropriate color.
Before you start, here are some helpful hints:
Start your painting in a well-lit environment to view your work properly.
Make sure your work surface is protected with a plastic tablecloth or newspaper.
Between colors, keep a container of water nearby to clean your brushes.
Also, keep a cloth or paper towel handy to clean your brush between washing.
LINE Up A Number WITH THE RIGHT COLOR.
This may seem apparent, but while painting the numbers corresponding to the correct colors, attempt to paint only those regions with that color while moving on to the next section of the painting.
Allow those areas to dry completely before going on to the next color. Between washes, clean the brushes with enough water so no color runs into a cloth towel. This will keep the colors from blending or bleeding into one another. You can do dog paint by numbers as well.
TAKING CARE OF THE NUMBERS
It may require extra paint to cover the numerals completely, but be careful to take the time, so you don’t overdo it. Double-check numbers that have previously been painted over with the paper reference sheet.
Another piece of painting advice for your Masterpiece By Number Kit is to start at the top and work down if possible, concentrating on the smaller sections first to avoid smudging the paint.
ADDITIONAL PAINTING ADVICE
Use a magnifier to paint those smaller, harder areas if necessary.
If you’re a beginner at painting, practice some brushwork on a sheet of parchment to get a feel for how much paint you’ll need on your paintbrush. This will prevent you from spilling over boundaries or applying too much paint to your canvas.
Don’t rush your painting; allow enough time for colors to dry in between, and paint wisely to prevent mistakes. It will be well worth the effort in the end!
How can you know which paints are transparent?

Paint by Numbers with Transparent Paints
You can either find out while painting or plan ahead of time. To begin, sort through the paint pots to check which are translucent (see-through) or which are ambiguous (not see-through) (not see-through). To do so, take black paper and pen and jot down the painting pot numbers on your notepad.
Then, according to the quantity you wrote down, open each appropriate paint jar. Now take a small amount of paint from the pot and paint with it.
