Starting a new lifestyle is not easy at all , it requires changing aspects of your life that you have always been doing for other actions that you have never done. This situation can be a bit chaotic, especially at first.

 

For this reason, I bring you some super important tips to help you start a healthy lifestyle much easier to maintain over time.

 

ACCEPT YOU BUT LOOKING TO CHANGE

 

On many occasions we start a new healthy lifestyle due to the fact that we “hate” some part of our body or everything as a whole. This is a MISTAKE, it is fine that you want to improve both mentally and physically, but that the reason is not because you “hate” something about yourself. There are two main reasons for this:

1st reason

 

Starting a healthy lifestyle looking to change something about yourself because you hate it will make you want the change very quickly . Leading you to comply with too strict diets, over training and increase the obsession to achieve the goal in a very short time.

 

The changes must be made little by little , otherwise it is possible that it affects your health being more tired, more demotivated or even reaching a worse result than the initial one.

 

2nd reason

 

Sometimes we only think about everything we will do when we achieve our goal, for example: “when I lose those extra kilos I will buy new clothes with amazon coupons“, and why not now? You have to enjoy the change process as much as when you get it, as I mentioned it is a really long process whether you are looking to increase muscle mass or if you want to lose body fat.

 

If the only thing that keeps you going is the end result, when you see that it takes a “long time” the motivation will decline and it is very likely that you will end up leaving it. For this reason, you have to enjoy your new healthy lifestyle from the beginning.

 

LEARN

 

Another fairly common mistake when wanting to start a healthy lifestyle is wanting to change, but not wanting to learn anything about it.

 

If you are determined to start a new life, you have to learn about how this new way of doing things is, the more aspects you know, the better results you will get.

 

Look for aspects of diet, exercises, why do these types of exercises, how they are done properly, how much rest, how much to train and a long etcetera.

 

GET ORGANIZED

 

Changing the routine that you carried out day after day for a totally new one can be… a bit quite chaotic. The process of changing your habit is not easy and requires some time to adapt to perform new tasks that we have never done before.

 

This is why organization is really important when starting a new lifestyle. Organize meals, workouts, class or work assignments, everything to redistribute time from scratch, thus avoiding problems such as “I don’t have time to …”

 

This is because before you did not dedicate time to that new task and introducing it now into your lifestyle is only possible through a redistribution of time.

 

DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF WITH ANYONE

 

Both losing body fat and gaining muscle mass are difficult processes that require time, effort, and perseverance. No matter where it is easier than someone else. Being slim and gaining weight in a healthy way is no easier than being overweight and losing fat.

 

Everything requires a change, both in habits and mentality because it is necessary to change both your way of thinking and your way of doing things, and all changes are really complex.

 

For this reason, focus on your own goals and do not compare the results with other people and what they have already achieved.

 

THERE IS NO JUST ONE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

 

There are thousands of ways to eat better, to do sports, choose the one that best suits you.

 

If you have a flexible diet and do the sport or exercises that best suit you, starting a healthy lifestyle will stop being something you hate, it will increase your motivation and it will be easier for you to maintain it over time.
