Since September 8, 2021, Singapore has been offering a travel corridor / Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) for vaccinated travelers from Germany and Brunei. That is, travelers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are allowed to enter Singapore without quarantine. Also, they are free to pursue their activities. This of course saves the fully vaccinated travelers time and money.
A few months have passed since the introduction of the travel corridor between Singapore and Germany and Brunei and the Singaporean government has deemed this a complete success. Thus, it was decided to extend the scope of the travel corridor to include several countries: six more European countries (Denmark, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom), two countries in the Americas (Canada and the United States) and one Asian country (South Korea) have also been cleared for quarantine-free entry into Singapore. This significantly increases the number of travelers who can benefit from this travel corridor.
Additional countries have been added to the list of VTL countries in Singapore:
(Updated on November 10) Since November 8, tourists from Australia and Switzerland have been allowed to enter Singapore on VTL flights without quarantine; Since November 29, tourists from Malaysia, Finland and Sweden have also been able to enter Singapore quarantine-free on VTL flights.
(Updated on November 24) Quarantine-free travel between Singapore and Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates has been possible since December 6.
(Updated 30 November) Vaccine travel corridor between Singapore and Thailand to follow 14 December 2021; Since December 16, tourists from Cambodia, Fiji, the Maldives and Sri Lanka have also been able to enter Singapore without quarantine on VTL flights. Due to the COVID-19 variant Omicron, the VTL flights to Singapore from three Middle East countries (Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates) are postponed. The new start date will be announced later.
